Native to Namibia, Botswana, northern South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Mozambique - Huernia zebrina is a succulent in the Apocynaceae family, making it related to Hoya. It was previously classified as Ceropegia zebrina, but was revised into the Huernia genus. The flowers smell of carrion to attract it’s fly pollinators, and appear to have a lifesaver gummy-esque part of the corolla’s anatomy.

Huernia zebrina enjoys very bright indirect light to full sun exposure, a gritty, well-draining potting mix, mild to high temps, and has no humidity concerns. Likes to dry thoroughly in-between waterings.

May need to be repotted every 1-2 years.

Toxic to pets.

4” nursery pots available.
