Pilea peperomioides is a very popular ornamental houseplant that is native to the Sichuan and Yunnan Provinces, and occurs at elevations of 1500 to 3000m where it grows on damp forest rocks. It is rare and potentially endangered in it's native habitat.

Pilea peperomioides enjoys bright indirect to partial brief direct sun exposure, a chunky well-draining potting mix, moderate temps, and would appreciate some higher humidity although it's not necessarily required. Likes to dry out in-between waterings.

May need to be repotted in six months to a year.

4-6" nursery pots available.
