This variety of Dracaena is noted for having an incredibly thick, woody trunk/cane that the foliage grows from. New growths are softer and green, while age brings the woodiness. Also known as the corn plant, these plants are tried and tested to do well indoors.

Dracaena fragrans 'Massangeana' enjoys very bright indirect light, to brief/partial direct sun exposure, a gritty, well-draining soil, moderate to high temps, and has no humidity demands. Likes to dry thoroughly between waterings.

May need to be repotted in 1-2 years.
