Philodendron gloriosum 5-6"
Philodendron gloriosum 5-6"
Philodendron gloriosum is a crawling terrestrial species with heart-shaped green velvety foliage and pale to striking white veins. It grows from a rhizome which moves horizontally and creeps along the surface of the forest floor. Native to Central and South America. It is a slow grower, and may take up to a month for a new leaf to fully reveal itself.
It requires a chunky/well-draining potting mix, 60-80% humidity, moderate to high temps, and bright indirect to partial direct sun exposure. Likes to dry out in-between waterings.
May need to be repotted every 6 months to a year. Since these are crawlers, consider potting in a rectangular pot that is long and narrow. Make sure the pot drains well.
This plant is toxic to pets and humans.
5"-6" nursery pots available.
