Philodendron hederaceum var. hederaceum (Philodendron 'Micans'/Velvet Leaf Philodendron)
- Native to Central America.
- Enjoys bright indirect to partial brief direct sun exposure. Leaves that are exposed to enough direct sunlight will blush a beautiful coppery red color.
- Likes to dry completely in between waterings.
- If given a support/moss pole to climb, the leaves have the potential to get very large.
- Mildly toxic to pets and children.
