Philodendron hastatum (Silver Sword)

This climbing Philodendron sp. has glaucous sword-shaped leaves and one of the most silver appearances out of all Philodendron, hence the common name of "Silver Sword". If given a moss pole or support to climb, the size of the foliage will increase dramatically.

Philodendron hastatum enjoys bright indirect light to brief filtered direct sun, a chunky well-draining potting mix, temps between 60-80 F, and high humidity levels.

Water when pot has been allowed to dry out. May need to be repotted every 1-2 years.
