Scindapsus pictus 4-6"
Scindapsus pictus 4-6"
Scindapsus pictus (sometimes referred to as Silver/Satin Pothos, but this plant is not in the Epipremnum family.)
Scindapsus pictus is a shingling species from Asia, with velvet feeling dark green leaves with splashing. While rarely shingling indoors, there have been many accounts of it doing so. Highly sought after, this plant is heavily poached in it's native habitat. As with most Scindapsus sp. when thirsty, the leaves will curl up on themselves. The 'Exotica' cultivar has much larger leaves with a different patterning to more common cultivars such as 'Argyraeus'.
Scindapsus pictus enjoys bright indirect light to brief, filtered direct sun exposure, moderate to high temps, a chunky, well-draining potting mix, and would absolutely love some higher humidity levels. Enjoys to dry out in between waterings.
May need to be repotted in 6 months to a year.
4-6" nursery pots available.
