Curio rowleyanus
Known commonly as String of Pearls, this trailing succulent is native to South Africa, and is a member of the
Asteraceae family. Blooming little fluffy white flowers in the late fall to winter - when recently opened they actually smell faintly of cloves and cinnamon! A tricky species for many plant parents to master.
Curio rowleyanus likes very bright indirect light to partial/filtered direct sun exposure, and can be hardened off to full sun. Enjoys a gritty, well-draining potting mix, moderate to high temps, and has no humidity concerns. Enjoys to thoroughly dry in-between waterings, and pearls will pucker and wrinkle if in need of water.
May need to be repotted in 6 months to year.
Toxic to pets.
4" hanging basket available.
