A variety of Zamioculcas zamiifolia - the iconically reliable houseplant - that's leaves harden off to a deep jet black. New leaves will emerge a bright neon green, and deepen in color as they age.

Zamioculcas zamiifolia 'Black Queen' can take the whole spectrum of light - from full sun to dramatically low light, although somewhere in between is more ideal. Enjoys a chunky, well draining potting mix, moderate to high temps, and has no humidity concerns. Likes to thoroughly dry in-between waterings.

May need to be repotted in six months to a year.
